					<description>Interesting to switch my thinking when reading your Blog.  I want to compare our training, but I have to remember that 3k is different from 3 miles.  Of course I've got the 5k and 10k thing down.  Funny how here in the U.S. talk in minute/mile but have runs of 5k/10k/50k.&lt;BR/&gt;Keep up the training!  Remember, overtraining is the easiest way of getting injuried (believe me, I know!!)  Take it easy and listen to your body!</description>

					<description>Totally agree. Treadmills are a nightmare and dangerous if you use the one that I tried in Athens this week that came to a sudden halt after 1.5km and nearly threw me across the gym.</description>

As you are training for your first marathon I would suggest that you be conservative when in doubt and take a rest day. As you gain experience you will generally know when you can push or not.</description>
