I thought that getting ready for the marathon next month would be a big enough challenge… but I have managed to outdo myself. Somehow, my brother has persuaded me to sign up for the Hastings Half Marathon… in 6 days time! And I still haven’t been for a run in the last 6 months. My brother, Matthew (17), has never beaten me in a race, but after a winter of cross country training he is sensing victory! I don’t think I stand a chance. My aim is going to be to run the 21km without stopping… but I have no idea if that is even humanly possible. Sunday’s Marathon Blog entry should make amusing reading. Wish me luck.
