In a moment of madness, I just signed up for another half marathon… the Hastings Half Marathon which takes place this weekend! Apparently it has been voted the no.1 half marathon in the country. It is much bigger than the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon, with an expected field of around 4000 runners.
Hastings has one huge hill at the beginning, but it still isn’t as hilly as T. Wells. I should be able to do it faster… I am going to aim for a sub 1:25 time.
I want my blisters to heal before Sunday, so instead of going for a run now I am going to go and kill myself on the bike.
Will I think you’re crazy, but if there is anyone who is going to do it in the time you are suggesting its going to be you. Best of luck mate - I’ll put some money in the sponser thing.
